The surveillance system is a connection of surveillance cameras deployed at highway sections, bridges, tunnels, etc. with monitoring center through network access. The access network is implemented by deploying industrial switches to form an ERPS ring network. As an ITU-TG standard ring network protocol, ERPS is implemented based on Ethernet and can achieve error protection at 20ms to realize network connectivity and interoperability and reliable transmission. Each access perimeter network is connected to the secondary center through a monitoring and aggregation switch at the convergence point of the road segment. The sub-central core switch and the provincial monitoring center are interconnected and can interact with each other. The monitoring system is controlled and available province-wide. PIM-SM protocol is deployed on network devices to optimize video traffic.
